The quilts and the barn are amazing! Red has been my most favorite for antique and new quilts for years now. I couldn't pick a favorite if I had to. The small quilts also are great === visually striking!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing show! Linda....you really put on a spectacular presentation! The quilts are all so gorgeous, it was like being in NY all over again! Well done! :o) How fun it must have been to be surrounded by all these gorgeous R@W quilts! And those minis are so dang cute.....I can't get over them! ReplyDeleteWow - what an amazing display of quilts. Sure wish I could have seen them in person, but thank you for letting us all share them through your blog.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautifully filled barn! One of my favourites is the basketquilt with the white circles between them. And the white applique on red background. And the pieced lone star with the kind of acorns in the corners. And the mini baskets on white background under the grandmothers flowergarden on pic 12. And the New York beauty with the toile. And so many more! Very well done!!
ReplyDeleteMmmmm, stunning! There is nothing like a great quilt show! I love the red and white version with the toile. Very unique! Thanks for all the wonderful pics!
ReplyDeleteSo much red and white! The pictures are great but I bet they don't do justice to how stunning it all was in person. I can't believe you even had a bus group visit! You must be so proud and I bet this was your most successful fundraiser. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteThe quilts are almost overwhelming. I am not a small quilt person, BUT your wall of small quilts just might make me change my mind.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely fantastic, Joanne Rose would be proud of all of you.
ReplyDeleteWonderful exhibition Linda, you and your helpers once again have done a great job. As a person affected by breast cancer I am grateful that you chose this organisation as your charity.

ReplyDeleteOooohhhhh, so beautiful!! I think my favorite (or one of many of my favs) is that red quilt with the basket of flowers and flowers vining all around in pix #10. Who made that and is there a pattern? SO BEAUTIFUL!! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWOW- I wish I could have seen all these quilts in person. Thank you for the slide show!
ReplyDeleteLooks like another wonderful show! Really looking forward to seeing some more photos! Thanks so much for sharing with all of us that cannot come! We appreciate you!
ReplyDeleteSo many beautiful quilts!! My fav is number 6 - don't ask my why, but it reminds me of a little town sitting on a hillside. lol
ReplyDeleteMy personal favorite is number 2 because it reminds me of one of my first quilts I sewed in eggplant and white. Next I like the red wedding ring. All are beautiful and inspire me. I must do a red and white soon.
ReplyDeleteso beautiful!!!
