Here is what l chose. l wonder if it's what you would have done!!
l really love this pink/red fabric. And l am very pleased with how the quilt looks.
Can't wait to see it quilted. This quilt will hang in our exhibit in 4 weeks.
Next l played with these blocks, also from a swap online.
Again, all Jo Morton fabrics.
Hhmmm!!! This fabric or that fabric for the setting???
You know the drill. Come back tomorrow!!!
Thanks for visiting.
Linda.
The fabric you have used with the baskets I have used to set a hundred little 9 patches....so I can't be objective with your blocks......
ReplyDeleteI love the pink fabric you chose.
ReplyDeleteI think I prefer the second fabric for the setting this time.
This is fun!! I pick the second option.
ReplyDeleteI love the first option. That fabric is a favourite of mine. Love the stars too :-)
ReplyDeleteThe star quilt looks great with the pink Linda and I have to say I love the second version for your setting. It seems the blocks are more of a stand out.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt with the pink background is going to look fantastic quilted. I cannot wait to see the finished product. I also like the zig zag setting for your cake stand blocks and that brigher yellow fabric is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteLooking good...love your choices.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda,
ReplyDeleteI've just spent a very happy half hour sitting feasting on the beautiful photos in your last half a dozen posts. Thanks for sharing all the wonderful quilts. I'm really looking forward to Quilts in the Barn again this year.
Linda, really look at the work you've done. You wonder why I think you are an amazing woman!
ReplyDeleteHow many quilts have you made this year alone? I think from now on I'll buy the fabric, pattern & thread & drop them at your house & I'm sure you'd just 'whip up a quilt top in no time'
ps:got the tickets inthe post thanks & they're selling well
The pink has always been one of my favs...looks wonderful as your setting fabric! I really like the yellow for your second quilt! Can't go wrong with anything Jo Morton, I am using my collection of Jo Morton fabs to make the Farmers Wife Sampler.
ReplyDeleteI love the red/pink you used. For the last quilt, I'd choose the yellow (bottom pic).
ReplyDeleteLooking good. You'll have the barn filled to the rafters!
ReplyDeleteI think the bottom fabric really makes the block stand out more. Glad you're getting so much accomplished, certainly wish that I could attend your show.
ReplyDeleteOh I love it!
ReplyDeletewonderfull colours und Pattern

Well, I had chosen the toile, but I've been wrong before! The color looked darker in your original post, but this strawberry is smashing!
