Christmas sewing

In the crazy lead up to what is xmas, l had an unexpected opportunity to sew this weekend.
We had functions on Friday and Saturday evenings. And as my DH was
working on Saturday, an unheard of event in recent years, l decided that
there is no time like the present to get some xmas sewing done. So l took myself
into my sewing room on Saturday morning, and other than to eat and sleep, l didn't
come out till Monday afternoon. A very unexpected mini sewing retreat on my own.

First on the agenda was a skirt for our xmas tree. Our last one was nowhere to
be found, so a quick search on the net, and l found this pattern.
Just the quilting, and a little smart cutting, and this will be ready to go.
Go here to see some more examples.

l enjoyed making that one so much, l did some math with the pattern and made a mini one.
This will be a gift for a special person.

Here you can see the 2 together, which shows just how small the mini one is.
 SO CUTE!!!

More red and white sewing to come in the next few days.

Thanks for visiting.
Linda.

  1. I love your xmas tree pants! I wish I could have some free days for a mono retreat, maybe I'll have to make it happen straight after xmas.
