House Fixed and 2 lucky winners!!!

Well, l fixed the house. And now l have had to redraft it slightly larger
to make the sashing work, without using numbers
that are just near on impossible to figure!! Let alone cut!!

Better that than pulling my hair out trying to make 4 fit into 13 1/4"
If anyone out there can, let me know!!!

Lets face it. Quilting should be a pleasure, not a painful experience.
So the math is all done, the calculations all work, a sashing sample made,
and now l am off to my sewing room to make a NEW
schoolhouse block, in the correct size.

But first, l have to announce the lucky winners of
my red and White Bundles giveaway.
Congratulations to you both.
Please contact me, so l can arrange postage of you prize.

Elyte!!!

Hi Linda, I think that I was one of your earliest followers.
I have bought so much red and white fabric since
the show so I have definitely been influenced.

Marianne!!!

When I saw all the pictures of the exhibition on Internet
(Netherlands was too far to come ) I really wanted to make an red one.
It turned out to make the Burnt quilt from Di Ford in a lot of red civil war fabrics,
I love the quilt every day more I am working on it.
Greets from the Netherlands

Thanks everyone for taking part. Its been wonderful reading all your stories,
and l must say, l am even more inspired now to sew red and white quilts.

Thanks for visiting.
My sewing machine is waiting!!
Linda.
