Quilts In The Barn 2011 with Jo Morton.

l can't believe its already been 2 weeks since we held our QITB exhibition with Jo Morton.
Time sure flies when you are having fun!! Its been a super busy few weeks,
with Jo and Russ, and l would not change  1 minute of it.
From their arrival at Melbourne airport, to setting up the exhibit,
spending 3 days hanging out with wonderful women and men who visitied,
a few days stitching at Sorrento, 4 days down in Tassie,
and our final piece de'resistance,
a trip to Threadbear in Castlemaine,
our time with our guests
 has just been the BEST!!!

l will leave you with these photos, which speak for themselves,
of the wonderful quilts that were on exhibit over the 3 days.

The star of the show!! Jo herself.

The following  photos are of Quilts Jo brought with her.

The following  photos are of quilts made by Bev, Dorothy and myself.

This quilt was made by Meghan.

  13. Linda,
as I've said many times you are an amazing woman; who every year puts on a fantastic quilt show. This year was especially great with Jo & Russ making the trip.I'm sure Jo thought a few of us 'quilting-nuts' were a bit over the top with excitement just to meet her. Jo's luggage must have weighed a tonne with all the quilts she bought with her. It was lovely to meet the girls from the Quilted Crow too.
Thanks for a great show this year, I can't wait for next years show, & as you know it's an annual event my friends and I from near & far are guaranteed to attend
ps: a BIG thank you to your husband & all of your helpers for their contribution

  14. I've yet to get my Quiltmania but congrats on being in it. The quilts were fantastic and I've enjoyed blog hiopping to see all the photos.

  15. Thankyou so much for all the glorious photography. I do so wish I could have made it to see in person.
