Parcel in the mail.

l received this lovely parcel of goodies in the mail yesterday. l belong to Jo Morton's online sewing group, and we  have been having a pincushion exchange. You will have seen here,
my parcel ready to post. The pincushion is so cute, and the wool wallet will be very handy. Those fabrics are Jo Morton spice chest, but not sure what range the shirtings are from.

Here is a close up of them. If anyone knows? l think l need some of them in my stash!!

l was able to finish trimming up the hour glass blocks on the weekend, and put 2 Ohio blocks together.
Only 78 to go!!

Thanks for visiting,

P.S. l am still not able to resolve the issue of comments coming to my email inbox. So while l love hearing from you, and please do continue as l come read them on the blog,  l must again apologise for not being able to reply. l will continue to preserver.

  1. Very cute star blocks. And those goodies are really lovely. You can never have enough shirtings in my opinion.

  2. Love your parcel you received, especially that woollen wallet.

Your blocks look fantastic Linda, and I am dying to see what the finished quilt will look like.

  3. Hi Linda the shirtings are Attic Treasures by Jo!!!

  4. What a pain, I hope the comments issue gets resolved, Kathie had the same thing not long ago. Nice parcel of goodies there and the shirtings are really good ones.

oh love the stars, those blues are wonderful....
thats going to be a beautiful quilt.

  6. What a wonderful pile of lovely goodies! I've been very tempted to get some of the Spice Chest range. It's great to see the next stage of the blocks you're making. Did I miss out on what your exciting news was?

  7. By now you know the shirtings are Jo's. If you don't already have a source, the Olde World Quilt Shoppe in PHX, AZ has them all. What a great pincushion packet! The wool wallet would be great for stashing stash cash!

  8. Lucky you. Such lovely little surprises. Those blue blocks look like the beginning of something very promising.

  9. What a nice package you've received! Good for you!!

  10. Nice surprise package and beautiful blocks.
